IBCE members on Lobby Day in Washington, DC
The Cedar Valley Cancer Committee: Beyond Pink Team
(BPT) will provide a scholarship up to $500 for two eligible
advocates to attend the annual National Breast Cancer Coalition
(NBCC) Advocacy Conference.
At the Conference the scholarship recipient will learn more about breast cancer science, research, and public policy. The Conference helps activists build and strengthen their advocacy skills. NBCC's Annual Advocacy Conference is open to everyone interested in the fight against breast cancer, including breast cancer patients, survivors, activists, educators, and researchers.

Representative Latham with the Iowa advocates on
lobby day in Washington D.C.
Iowa Breast Cancer Edu-action will provide a $400 scholarship
to any active member interested in attending the National Breast
Cancer Coalitions's Project LEAD.
Project LEAD is the National Breast Cancer Coalition's science course for breast cancer advocates. LEAD trains advocates to critically analyze breast cancer research and influence committees and other breast cancer decision making bodies.
