You can assist other breast cancer survivors by sharing your health care experience. The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund (NBCCF) is collecting stories from women who are willing to write about what they've learned in order to help others who have been diagnosed. Did you get the care you needed, when you needed it? Were you given enough information to make good decisions? Were your treatment options explained to you? Do you feel you were treated with respect? Are there any "if only I had known..." aspects of your care that you think might help other women?
Your stories will also strengthen NBCCF's efforts to educate local and national lawmakers. Our goal is a quality health care system for women with breast cancer every step of the way, from detection through diagnosis and treatment.
Please take these three simple steps:
1) Answer a questionnaire to prepare you for telling your story
2) Tell your story
3) Complete the confidentiality form
On behalf of the breast cancer survivors who will benefit from your experience, thank you!
