Iowa Breast Cancer Advocacy Network

As the Iowa Advocacy Network monitors and initiates breast cancer related activities in Washington (through the National Breast Cancer Coalition) and at the state level, you can count on the Network to be informed. The Network will notify you with an Advocacy Alert.

All you have to do when you receive an Advocacy Alert is read it and make the appropriate contacts. It's that easy. We'll briefly and clearly explain the issue and tell you whom to contact.

Take a look at the Advocacy Alert sample to see how easy it is to understand. It's easy - takes just 5 minutes.

Because these decisions are made very quickly, we ask that you respond to breast cancer Advocacy Alerts as soon as you receive them - the whole process shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

As a result of grassroots advocacy, federal funding for breast cancer research has increased from $90 million to over $600 million in less than 10 years. Plus, we have increased access to breast cancer detection and treatment for all women.

When you join the Iowa Breast Cancer Advocacy Network, the only commitment you have is to read the Advocacy Alerts we send you and respond.

Join the Iowa Breast Cancer Advocacy Network and see what a difference your voice can make in the fight against breast cancer. By impacting your lawmakers' votes, you bring us one step closer to our goals!
